"The Biggest Loser" television series has inspired many people to lose weight, either on their own or with a trainer. Losing weight as a group can lead to more weight loss, since you hold each other accountable, as well as support each other. I recently took part in a Biggest Loser challenge in Colorado Springs, and if you have a group of friends, neighbors, or co-workers, why not start a Biggest Loser Challenge of your own?

Starting a challenge isn't hard. You can ask your group for ideas, then meet and settle on what you want to do. To make it more challenging, you can ask for an entrance fee, which will be used as the prize for the person who loses the most weight, percentage-wise (since everyone will have different amounts to lose). You'll want to have an initial weigh-in with the group, using the same scale for everyone since scales can vary. That will be the start date, with the end date agreed upon at that time, so you have a goal. You may want the challenge to last a good amount of time, such as twelve weeks. That gives everyone time to do their best and change their eating and exercise habits.

Once person will need to act as "host" and keep the weights of the participants and prize money. The host can write down the weights of the participants and have each participant initial their weight, and only the host will know the weights of everyone.

Like on the TV show, weekly challenges can help motivate and inspire your group to exercise and change their lifestyle. These challenges can be anything--hikes, workouts, bike rides, yoga, Zumba class, or swimming. To make it more challenging and to get more people to participate, you can have a prize for the person who attends the most weekly challenges. A fat reducing overview can help you establish a clear outline of what you demand to focus on to accomplish your fat burning purpose if you're a rookie; or serve as a reminder for those who are at an advanced or more boost level of their weight loss strategy. Applying are seven steps that can serve as suggestions for your special weight loss system. The first thing that one must understand is that losing weight and losing fat is not exactly the same thing. Many weight loss applications have fooled people into wondering that it is the same, but most diets and weight loss programs only work by producing a person's body to reduce more muscle tissue and water than actual body fat, more help please visit The Fat Loss Factor. The prize should be something healthful or to celebrate their new look, like a gift certificate to a spa or a pass to a gym, or a gift card to a clothing store so they can buy something in their new size.

At the end of the period, get everyone together for a final weigh-in, using the same scale as for the initial weigh-in. The person who has lost the most weight, percentage-wise is the Biggest Loser! You can award a first, second, and third place winner, with first place receiving 50 percent of the prize money, second place 30 percent, and third place 20 percent and also determine the winner of the weekly challenges. There may be some participants who haven't lost much weight at all, but they'll have made changes to their eating and exercise habits, and that is a good start.
