Years ago when the writer made a decision to improve his health through exercise, he felt that music could be one way to help motivate him more. He downloaded some music to an IPod and the rest is history, he was able to lose weight and get in better shape. But the problem was not so much the fact that he used an IPod to motivate him to get in better health, but the volume levels he kept his music at. You see most people do use some kind of music listening device to improve their workouts and it can be a great tool for motivation. But most people that use them are not aware of the damage these listening devices (IPods) similar to the picture above, can do to your ears.
