According to a recent study published via Diabetologia, an online publication on behalf of the European Association for the Study of Diabetes, consuming just one can of soda per day is enough to boost your risk of type 2 diabetes by as much as 22%. Add this to the fact that increased sugar consumption rots your teeth, interferes with your digestive functioning and causes you to gain weight, and it becomes a no-brainer that your soda habit has to go. This includes diet sodas too.

Although you may think youre doing your body a favor by drinking low or no-calorie soft drinks, youre really not. They still contain artificial sugars that have been found to actually increase your appetite and they are made with chemicals that can cause other health issues such as headaches, fatigue and muscle soreness. For these reasons, youre much better off nixing soda completely from your diet.

However, it isnt always an easy habit to give up. If you enjoy the taste of cola and like the pick-me-up that you get from the caffeine and sugar, it can make it extremely difficult to break your ties with soda and choose to leave it on the shelf at the store. A fat reduction review can help you establish a clear outline of what you demand to focus on to achieve your fat reduction target if you're a beginner; or serve as a reminder for the ones who are at an advanced or more advance phase of their weight loss strategy. Applying are seven steps that can serve as methods for your personal weight loss program. The first thing that one must understand is that losing weight and losing fat is not the same thing. Many weight loss programs have tricked people into considering that it is the same, but most diets and weight loss applications only work by producing a person's body to reduce more muscle cells and water than actual body fat, more help please visit The Fat Loss Factor. But, it doesnt have to be that hard if you use just a few simple tricks.

For instance, switching to plain water can be a hard sell as there is no taste to it. So, try adding flavor to your glass by putting in slices of lemon, lime, strawberries or cucumbers. Youre left with a refreshing, hydrating beverage that wont harm your health.

Also, you can still get your caffeine fix by having a cup of coffee or tea. Drink green tea instead and youll give your body many other major health benefits such as cancer prevention, increased weight loss and a stronger heart.

Although you may initially miss drinking soda, once youre away from it for a period of time it doesnt taste as good when you take a sip. And, youll notice that you feel worse when you drink it as youll likely have a harder time controlling your cravings and your body wont seem quite so energetic.

Kick your soda habit today so you can live a longer, healthier life. It may be hard, but it will be worth it.
