Its week 8 of Biggest Loser season 11 and Alison told the contestants that its a red-line week, which means one person will be voted off and the loser of the weigh-in will automatically be banished from Broccoli Island.
Brett and Cara were determined not to have any more red team members sent home so their plan is to beat the fat out of them. Theyll be doing all their workouts at Bas Ruttens MMA gym. Rulon was stoked because he trained with him in his glory days.
So were treated to more punching, kicking and screaming. (Cara is quite shrieky.)
Meanwhile, back at the ranch, Bob had his focus on Arthur. Since he lost 20 pounds last week, the odds are stacked against him to have another stellar week. The challenge: Balls! Giant, huge, ginormous balls! Each team has to move six giant balls across a football field, volleyball style. And guess whos a volleyball champ? Hannah! The winning team gets a 3-pound advantage at the weigh-in. Despite Hannahs prowess, they faltered badly and red team won handily.
The black team was so discouraged that they met after the challenge to decide who would offer themselves up if they lost the weigh-in. The moms offered themselves up and asked Jesse if he was cool with the deal. He was not. What people have been doing is making me feel guilty, Jesse said. Just because Im an old man doesnt mean you throw me out. Olivia didnt like Jesses attitude but hey, he wants to be there just as much as everyone else. Team Jesse!

Weigh-in and elimination: It seemed extra dramatic this week, didnt it? Howd they do?

Now it was time for the black team to see if they could prevail yet again.

- Jesse: +3. It appears that he went along with the parents pledge. And what Jesse did for Arthur also saved Jen.
- Deni: +8. Definitely took one for the team. For me its about being a mom and taking care of our kids.
So Denis out. Time for the black team to eliminate another one. It was clear that another parent would be voted off and the women voted to send Jesse home. But they sent him home with a lot of love and respect.
The update: Jesse started on the ranch at 293 pounds and now he has his diabetes under control and is down to 227 pounds. He looks fantastic and is leading friends and family in his walking adventures. Deni is down 86 pounds and chasing her little grandkids all over the yard.
Next week: Everyone gets to go home for two weeks and there is birthday cake to be had big, chocolatey birthday cake for Austin. And then Jillian gets verklempt at the weigh-in.
