In his follow up to The Skinny Rules, celebrity trainer Bob Harper brings you his latest book Jumpstart to Skinny. The book features thirteen short term rules, not suggestions you must do to activate weight loss. He takes the guesswork out of weight loss by giving the reader a day by day plan of what to buy, what to eat, how much to eat and when and how to do exercise.

In his Jumpstart plan to a skinnier you, Harper gives you his "Jumpstart Rules" which is a 13 step formula including a precise breakdown of 40 percent protein, 40 percent carbohydrates and 20 percent fats in every meal. There is no juicing or fasting in this book, Harper wants you to eat to lose weight. He tells the reader for this short-term plan woman should only consume 800 calories and men 1200.

To take out confusion he gives you a three week game plan and breaks it down day by day with what food to buy, how and when to prepare it and how much to eat.
