Making Valentines day a true affair of the heart event

Valentines Day is just around the corner and most people that participate in the event are looking to buy flowers, candy and maybe even are planning a romantic getaway for their love ones. However for some couples this event could be celebrated in a different way, in a more heartfelt way especially if your loved one has problems with weight gain. Now I know it is not nice to tell a loved one that they need to loose weight ever. In fact just mentioning to a loved one that they need to loose weight can bring on a conflict of unknown proportions. What Im suggesting is a proposal to your loved one that the both of you will engage in some healthy lifestyle changes that could enhance your lives.

Now with spring around the corner and with the possibility of finding some summer items on sale you may want to consider purchasing a tandem bicycle. This can really be a fun way to spend some time together while getting in some exercise. Sight seeing around your neighborhood in a bicycle can help you discover more great things about community that maybe you were never able to see before and can now can appreciate. Another possibility is to consider purchasing a health club membership for your loved one, with the goal of enrolling them in a specialty class such Latin dance, aerobics, spinning or other group fitness classes both of you can enjoy participating in together. If money is an issue than consider hiking as a cheaper alternative, all that is required is a planned destination and a decent but comfortable pair of shoes. Another suggestion is to sign up you and your partner to a volunteer organization that requires physical effort to help out such as Habitat for Humanity.
