The first two stages were covered in a previous article. The first two stages are the hardest because you have to be around food and smell food. - Stage 1 baby foods (meats, vegetables, and fruits)
- Scrambled egg whites or Eggbeaters
- Lowfat cottage cheese
- Pureed soups
- Light yogurt
- Silken tofu
- Tuna

Stage Four
Stage four is where you will begin to eat soft foods and have more of a variety of foods. In stage four, you can add the following foods:
- Ground chicken or turkey
- Tender chicken (skinless and best cooked by boiling)
- Fish (do not fry)
- Reduced fat cheese
- Well-cooked vegetables (stay away from the vegetables that make you gassy)
- Peeled potatoes
- Fruit in its own juice or water, banannas
Once you get past stage four, you can start adding other foods into your diet, such as bread and raw fruit and vegetables. I had a real hard time with meats and raw fruits and vegetables, but I have learned that eating slow and really chewing my food helps.
