Wednesday's Dr. Oz Show was all about shaping up your back end, and aside from audience members showing off their problem areas and Dr. Oz playing with slabs of beef, he also unveiled a recipe for a Butt-Busting Brownie. So what makes this brownie so special?

Two ingredients: cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Those two spices increase thermal activity in your body, and the cinnamon also helps keep your blood sugar level stable. It's also wheat free and no baking is involved, so there are two pluses there as well. The raisins and milk help to "glue" the ingredients together so it's more of an energy bar texture. And the raisins and oats make this brownie rich in fiber. Raw cacao powder may be hard to find (and expensive); try a natural foods store.

One problem with the recipe on the Dr. Oz website: No nutritional information and no serving size. We'd suggest making 16 servings, especially with a whole cup of raisins.

Butt-Busting Brownie

  • 1 cup raw cacao powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup low-fat milk
  • 1 cup organic raisins
  • 1 cup oats

In a food processor pure the cacao, cayenne, cinnamon, milk and raisins until a smooth paste forms. You can find it at natural foods stores, and yes it is more expensive than regular sugar. Also, keep in mind that it has the same number of calories as regular sugar, so don't go nuts.
