When producers were prepping Katie Couric for her new daytime talk show, they apparently forgot to give her the memo about diplomacy and tact. When asked to name her "dream guest," Katie claimed Kate Middleton is the lucky lady, adding bluntly, "I think she needs to eat more because shes so thin," reported the Huffington Post yesterday. Oops. Although Katie sandwiched the criticism with praise about how the Duchess has "comported herself so well since she has been thrust in the limelight," the slam renewed the rumors that Kate has an eating disorder. And it must be giving Jessica Simpson nightmares, since she's scheduled to appear on Katie's talk show premiere to talk about her own weight loss battles (click here for the skinny).
Prior to her wedding to William, Kate lost about 10 pounds, and subsequent photos show "alarming weight loss," reported the Daily Beast yesterday.
