Baby weight can be tough to shake, especially after your third child, but Melissa Joan Hart has signed on to be the latest Nutrisystem celebrity spokesperson and has already shed 20 pounds, the weight-loss company announced today.
Hart, 36, who currently stars in the ABC Family comedy Melissa & Joey, gave birth to her third child in September and has lost 20 pounds since then.
"The program is really delivering results for me and I look forward to long-term success, staying motivated and helping others do the same, Hart said in a Nutrisystem press release Tuesday.
Keira Krausz, Nutrisystems chief marketing officer said that Hart mirrors our values and will resonate with our customers as authentic. Shell be a part of Nutrisystems campaign that will have a mix of celebs and real-life folks who show off their weight-loss success in ads.
Hart, who also starred as a teen in the Nickelodeon series "Clarissa Explains It All" and the ABC series "Sabrina the Teenage Witch," joins Marie Osmond, Terry Bradshaw, Dan Marino and Janet Jackson as the latest celebrity to lose weight with the meal-delivery plan, which was recently named Best Convenience Diet in Best Diet & Fitness Tips magazine, a new publication featuring articles and tips from USA Today, Shape magazine and Mens Fitness magazine.
