Her response: Lady Gaga is rallying her fans online by opening up about her history of eating disorders, including anorexia and bulimia, and proudly posting photos of herself in lingerie.
Universal Music Group wants Lady Gaga to surrender her Italian food favorites, reported the New York Post this week. "Gaga has an incredible appetite for Italian food, which stems largely from her roots," a source revealed. "Its very easy on tour to get hooked on a diet of pizza and pasta because they are comfort foodsand when you are away from home you always long for something that reminds you of where you came from." The musical management company wants to play weight police, telling her "to quit gorging on her favorite foods," said the source. But Lady Gaga sent a response via her social media platform Little Monsters, the Los Angeles Times reported yesterday. "Bulimia and anorexia since I was 15," she announced on a dedicated page titled, "A Body Revolution 2013." And she posted photos of her history as well as photos of herself garbed in underwear, noting, "Today I join the body revolution to inspire bravely."
