Currently, we are running our "Rock Your Jeans" Challenge at The Body You Want Fitness Solutions located here in DC in Georgetown. This is an 8 week challenge to drop 2 jean sizes safely and healthfully.

All of our members in the challenge happen to live in Washington, DC or the surrounding area and work full time and have full busy lives - just like you. How are they going to drop 2 sizes in 8 weeks? By focusing on and measuring compliance instead of obsessing over the outcome.

At the beginning everyone was photographed trying their jeans on. Many people had three to 6 inches between the button and the button hole. We just passed our half-way mark and so it was time to try on those jeans again. Everyone was able to zip and button them!

How were they able to do this and it's not even the end of the challenge? By following this tip:

Focus more on your behavior than on the results because results only come from behavior. Obsessing about the scale or measurements steals energy that you could be investing on the behavior that would be getting you the results anyway.

During the Challenge the main focus is on measurable compliance and behavior - the overall process and NOT obsessing on the outcome or arriving at the goal. The goal is in this case is to fit into a pair of jeans 2 sizes too small in 8 weeks.

Everyone was skeptical when they started and were surprised this week when trying on their jeans again. Wow what 4 weeks of sticking to the plan can do!
