Reno's eating plan is a four-week, six-meal a day plan tailored for men and women (men get more, as usual) that stresses fresh, whole foods, whole grains, lean protein and lots of water. The menus are simple and don't require a lot of preparation or ingredients.
The workout portion of the program is followed on a Success Chart, which targets a different body part six days a week for 30 to 45 minutes a workout. The chart is compact enough to stick on the fridge for extra motivation.
The workouts are tough, but if you're a beginner, Holland does offer some modifications to some of the exercises. There are two to three background exercisers -- men and women -- and Holland acts more like your coach, keeping you in check on technique and motivation.
These aren't complicated moves something your dad or husband would be embarrassed to try. These are old-school moves, such as push-ups, V-ups, mountain climbers and bicep curls.
