My cousin's husband passed away today from liver cancer. He was diagnosed about three months ago. He was in his early fifties, was a wonderful husband and father, and will be missed by many who loved him. I dedicate this article to him.

I chose to become a health coach because of wanting to understand the correlation between health and prevention. I had met someone who said that in the past he had allergies and poor vision, and became the epitome of radiant health because he made different choices. I wanted to understand that. Is illness a fait accompli, or are there ways we can increase our odds of staying healthy? The most important thing I have learned is that there are no guarantees. However, we can potentially make a world of difference by consistently making better choices with regard to our lifestyle, the food we eat, whether or not we smoke and drink, how we manage stress and seek physical and mental relaxation, whether or not we take supplements, and how well we manage our weight.

When I started on this journey, I had serious health issues. I no longer do. This experience has bolstered my belief for well over a decade and has enabled me to inspire others to take a shot at becoming and staying well.

According to research done at the University of Maryland, there is a link between central obesity and a variety of cancers, including liver cancer. That does not mean that everyone with a bulge will get liver cancer, or that everyone with a slim mid-section won't get liver cancer. But given the fact that reducing abdominal fat improves our chances of being healthier, it does not matter that there is no guarantee. A fat reduction review can help you build a clear describe of what you require to focus on to accomplish your fat burning target if you're a novice; or serve as a reminder for these who are at an advanced or more boost phase of their weight-loss strategy. Promptly after are seven steps that can serve as methods for your own weight loss plan. The first thing that one must understand is that losing weight and losing fat is not exactly the same thing. Many weight loss plans have misled people into wondering that it is the same, but most diets and weight loss programs only work by producing a person's body to burn more muscle cells and water than actual body fat, more help please visit The Fat Loss Factor. In fact, when working with my clients, I speak frankly about this very topic. Don't lose weight because you are looking for the promise of a long life. Maybe you want to shed those extra pounds because of the peace of mind that comes from knowing that you took responsibility for your health. That you did everything you could to live a healthy life. If something catastrophic happens, God forbid, wouldn't you want to know that at the very least, you did the best you could?

I ask my clients what is the most compelling reason why they want to get healthier. I have heard things that brings tears to my eyes. They often refer to their families. Being around for their loved ones. If you have a "why that makes you cry", a motivation that is so personal to you that it is worth making adjustments to your food choices, isn't that a great reason to get on board and steer your ship to healthier ground?

Make your health a priority this day and every day. The world is a better place when you take really good care of yourself. Others may be watching. You might inspire a life... and possibly save one.
