I'm sorry but the headline is false, I took advantage of the fact that I knew you would want to read about the "magical pill". Contrary to many popular magazine ads or "quick fix" routines that promise to lose xx inches around your waist in x time; the reality is we CAN NOT naturally spot remove fat from specific areas of the body. You can, however, polish your appearence. Here are a few ways to make that happen.

Reducing inches around the waist (and everywhere else) is a result of creating a caloric deficit, or, expending more energy (calories) then you ingest. You can strengthen the muscles in the abdomen, obliques and back to somewhat improve the appearance of the waist, however trying to lose stomach fat exclusively should only be a secondary objective as a result of healthy living. Losing fat around the waist and maintaining a new, fit physique forever can be done naturally, but only in conjunction with losing body fat as a whole. Healthy lifestyle changes for losing body fat include:

  • Have a "Go-To" ( In the time of need for a quick meal, keep a place in mind that has a healthy option that you enjoy, I go for the tuna salad at Whole Foods)
  • Plan your meals in advance (The hustle and bustle makes pizza and pop sound amazing when you're starving, if you plan in advance your eating habits improve).
  • Start counting and recording calories ingested. The most successful weight loss participants are the ones that continue to count calories and record what they eat on a regular basis.

Anyhow I suppose the headline reads true. You can shrink your waist with a small dose. Take the small dose everyday and watch yourself develop into the calorie counting/meal planning/water drinking/physically active individual that you aspire to be.
