Well, it is the day after one of the biggest stuff-yourself days of the year, Super Bowl Sunday. Did you pig out? Any food left over? Were you taking notes with all the suggestions and food demos on the morning TV shows last week? Did you do anything to compensate for the extra inhaled food? Perhaps, exercise before the game aired, or a walk after it finished? Okay, you might think these are rhetorical questions, but they are not. You just answer them in the privacy of your home.
So, now what? For starters, if you have any food left over, how about deep-6'ing it? Unless, of course, it happens to be the vegetable tray. That takes away that temptation. Next, you can always add an extra 10 minutes to your daily workout to compensate for some of the extra calories. If the weather is such that exercising outdoors is out of the question, then how about using that gym membership that is gathering dust?
