Spots still open in this weekends Walnut Creek Half Marathon

If your 2012 New Years resolution was to run a half marathon, you may want to make good on that promise in this weekends Walnut Creek International Half Marathon and 5K, the final event in the this years Northern California Half Marathon Series.

Back for its second year, the race features an all-new course to alleviate previous traffic blockages. The hope is to lessen the traffic impact on Ygnacio Valley Road, which became an issue during the inaugural race on Dec. 10, 2011 when a lane was blocked for the duration of the event.
