There is plenty of sealife and beautiful views along the way, which makes a walk or a run delightful.
Running the beach is another great way to remain lost while avoiding the vacation bulge. The turquoise waters of the Caribbean will refresh you any time of the day. Be mindful of the local sales people who would love to slow your workout down by selling you a ride on an unregulated jet ski.
The Atlantis waterpark offers the opportunity for fitness as well. The highest slides have several sets of stairs so the more times you ride, the more work you've done. The pools all allow you to stretch your legs while you get cooled off from the hot sun.
There is also a great rock wall in Atlantis. The kids will enjoy watching you struggle up the wall. Then you can return the favor by watching them dangle from the top as well.
As with most things that are fun and enjoyable, it is easy to over do it. Too much food, too much sun, and too much fun Bahamas fitness can make your vacation more tiring than relaxing.
