October marks the beginning of the holiday eating season. You spend the entire month hiding the Halloween candy on yourself, only to eat half of the bowl that night waiting for your first trick-or-treater. Then, you arent even off your sugar high before you start dreaming of the huge Thanksgiving turkey, moms homemade stuffing and grandmas famous pumpkin pie.

After youve had those two back-to-back I shouldnt have moments, you still find yourself tasting every Christmas sugar cookie and fudge tray that comes your way. Follow that with your New Years Eve celebration and youre back into your wardrobe thats one, two or three sizes bigger. Does the cycle ever end?

Truth is that you can do some damage control this holiday season as long as you start now. Wouldnt it be nice to spend New Years Eve celebrating and not worried about losing your holiday weight? Of course it would. Heres what you need to do to make that possible.

Have a plan. Know before you attend functions what youre going to do to practice healthy eating. You might even want to have a cup of soup or a salad before you go so youre not overly hungry and ready to devour the first high calorie appetizer you lay your eyes on. Commit to eating at least one vegetable at the party. Or, decide to only go through the food line once. Keep it positive and focus on what you will do, not what you wont do.

Remember why youre there. Are you going just for the food? Maybe partly, but chances are that youre going to spend time with family and friends. Make that your priority. If its a smaller gathering, commit to talking to every person there. If it's a larger gathering, aim to meet at least one new person. A fat reducing overview can help you build a clear outline of what you need to focus on to accomplish your fat burning goal if you're a beginner; or serve as a reminder for these who are at an advanced or more improve level of their losing weight program. Applying are seven steps that can serve as guidelines for your own weight loss program. The first thing that one must understand is that losing weight and losing fat is not the same. Many weight loss plans have misled people into wondering that it is the same, but most diets and weight loss applications only work by causing a person's body to burn more muscle cells and water than actual body fat, more help please visit The Fat Loss Factor. Focus on the people and your attention wont have time to stray to the food line.

Allow yourself leeway. If you only get your sisters homemade vanilla pudding dessert at Christmas, then allow yourself a serving of it. Give yourself room to live. If you dont want to feel guilty eating it, do some extra exercise that morning. It will taste that much better knowing you earned it.

Be realistic. If you normally gain ten pounds during the holiday season, maybe its unrealistic to expect that youll lose weight this year. While its not out of the question if youre dedicated and diligent, a more suitable goal may be to maintain your current weight. Setting yourself up for failure isnt going to help your weight loss efforts.

So, what do you think? Feel ready to tackle holiday food tables? If you need a little extra help, hit subscribe at the top of the article and youll get weight loss advice all season long. It never hurts to have a little extra help.
