We talked with Biggest Loser season 13 winner Jeremy Britt Wednesday afternoon. The 23-year-old Michigan mans voice was hoarse from celebrating his win the night before and flying across the country for a "Today" show appearance, but he was thrilled with his win and ready to spend some of the $250,000 prize money on a gift for a fellow season 13 contestant Buddy Shuh, who walked off the show with fellow contestant Mark Cornelison.
The first thing Ive got to do is buy Buddy a minivan, Britt said Wednesday in a conference call with reporters. Thats the only thing I had planned because when he had left he said that all he wanted was a minivan out of the show. So I told him if I won Id get him a minivan.
Generous, huh?
Well, he said when he won that spot in Tuesdays finale he was going to absolutely make the most of it. And now that he is down 199 pounds, we asked him what his fitness and weight-loss plans are. Since he has been on the show, he has cultivated a love of running and wants to keep up his cardio endurance he worked long and hard for. But hes also going to mix in more strength training.
Im going to do absolutely some cardio in there as well, too, but definitely do some running and then doing some weight lifting and stuff like that just to try and have a nice balance, he said. Im not trying to be the Hulk or anything, Im just trying to get toned.
But Britt is anything but haggard, which sometimes happens when Biggest Loser finalists push hard to get every pound off before the finale. In fact, all the contestants looked fit and healthy. (Check out their transformations HERE.)
Its about doing it the right way, and for me I definitely did that, he told us. I definitely worked out a lot and I had a good balanced diet and I was working out a ton to achieve the results I achieved.

- On what he learned from rooming with sister Conda: That if I have to share a room with her for six months I want to go insane, he said with a laugh, but then added, When she wants to be competitive she knew how to do it and she definitely knew how to be successful here.
- On meeting First Lady Michelle Obama: What didnt come across on camera was just how down to earth Michelle Obama was, he said. She spent a lot of time at each family, and getting to introduce herself to everybody, and hugging everybody and just was very personable about it, and it was a great experience.
- On his plans: I would like to get into speaking or something like that just to share my story, he said. Theres a lot of younger people that definitely find themselves relating to me that want to just hear what I have to say. And if I can help them in any way possible, I would love to do that.
