Most people have heard the term "CrossFit" lately - it has quickly become one of the most popular fitness programs out there - but to many it seems like a secret society. CrossFit is a new fitness program based around strengthening and conditioning. Followers (in gyms or at home) do a "Workout of the Day" or WOD, which can involve running, jumping rope, rowing, using kettlebells, or doing bodyweight exercises. The idea is to constantly vary your workout, while increasing your endurance, power, flexibility, and balance.
