Love to eat out? Me, too. But now that I've watched celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito dish the dirt to Dr. Oz on today's show, I'll think twice about what I order (and if I dine out...or in). From an abundance of butter (yes, even Paula Deen would be shocked!) to hidden sugars in pasta, here's the skinny on what you need to know to stay true to your diet plan in a restaurant.

  • Beware of butter. Veggies, salad dressing, and other foods often contain a hefty serving of butter, warned Chef Rocco. How to make it healthy? He said to tell your waiter to avoid using butter in your food. A fat reduction overview can help you build a clear outline of what you need to focus on to complete your fat burning target if you're a novice; or serve as a reminder for the ones who are at an intermediate or more improve level of their weight loss plan. Applying are seven steps that can serve as tips for your special weight loss system. The first thing that one must understand is that losing weight and losing fat is not the same. Many weight loss programs have fooled people into believing that it is the same, but most diets and weight loss plans only work by leading to a person's body to eliminate more muscle flesh and water than actual body fat, more help please visit The Fat Loss Factor.
  • Sauces can be sinful. Chef Rocco recommends going for thin sauces, not thick, because the thicker the sauce, the more fattening it is. When possible, he advises asking for Au Jus sauce.
  • How sweet it is...not. Another warning: sugar can be hidden in some surprising items, such as spaghetti. Why? Chef Rocco said it makes the food look more attractive and offers a taste bud temptation.
  • Pay attention to the menu item names. If it's creamy, cheesy, or crispy, it's more fattening than a food that is grilled, baked, or poached.
