According to E! News, Christina Pagliarolo is suing The Rachel Ray Show for an appearance she made on the CBS show when she was 18 years old. The teens goal was to lose 70 pounds for the prom and discussed in the episode which aired two years ago the bullying she underwent at school because of her weight of 280 pounds.
Pagliarolo claims one of her trainers, Eric Viskovicz, coerced her run and hike mountains and yelled at her. She claims he even went so far as to speed up the StairMaster, although she requested for him to stop, until she eventually fell off resulting in leg injuries which she was not hospitalized for. The teen claims this treatment made her feel anxious, fearful and threatened.
Reality weight loss shows increasing in popularity with contestants losing tens to a hundred pounds within a few months seems very unrealistic for most. Many trainers believe in SMART goals, that is Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Time Specific. With Pagliarolo wanting to lose over 70 pounds by her prom and only losing 8 during her 8th week on the program it doesnt realistic. According to the show Pagliarolo also canceled over 15 workout session with her trainer and they were not sure if she was working out on her own according to the routines they gave her to do on her own.

The trainer pushed Pagliarolo to try to help her achieve the goal and although she did not attain any life threatening or was even hospitalized it was effective in the beginning of her weight loss journey.
