Usually when someone decides to do their cardiovascular program theyre choosing to do an activity that they like such as the treadmill or the elliptical trainer. The amount of time is also set in their minds as well. While this is an okay approach there is one thing that should be thought of first and thats the heart and more specifically heart rate.

No matter what the goal is the most important way to determine the best cardio workout is to use your heart rate. Your heart is a muscle and it needs to be strengthened as well. There are 3 zones when it comes to a cardio program, fat burn, aerobic and anaerobic. Each zone is based off of a percentage of your maximum heart rate.

To get your maximum heart rate simply subtract your age from 220. This number now represents your maximum heart rate. From here we now want to work in percentages of that. The fat burn zone is achieved at 65%, aerobic is 80% and anaerobic is 86%. A fat loss review can help you build a clear summarize of what you require to focus on to achieve your fat reduction goal if you're a beginner; or serve as a reminder for the ones who are at an intermediate or more boost stage of their weight loss plan. Promptly after are seven steps that can serve as tips for your personal weight loss plan. The first thing that one must understand is that losing weight and losing fat is not exactly the same thing. Many weight loss applications have fooled people into thinking that it is the same, but most diets and weight loss plans only work by resulting in a person's body to reduce more muscle flesh and water than actual body fat, more help please visit The Fat Loss Factor. So lets say someone is 38. Their maximum heart rate would be 182, fat burning zone 118, aerobic would be 146 and anaerobic at 156.

If youve ever been to a gym or health club that has treadmills, elliptical trainers and bikes all of them will have predetermined programs that require your heart rate. The equipment uses this to either increase or decrease the resistance so as to match the needed heart rate for the chosen program.

So the next time you are doing a cardio workout dont just do what you always do. You should listen to your heart.
