A 150-calorie pina colada for skinny summer sipping

Fun, fruity blender drinks can be a dieter's downfall. Most traditional pina coladas can be upwards of 600 (!) calories. But Esteban Ordoez, DonQs national brand ambassador and director of mixology, has done the impossible -- he created a pina colada for only around 150 calories.

We've tried it and it's pretty darn good. Not your usual goopy, syrupy sweet frozen drink, it's lighter, less cloying yet still icy and refreshing. We whizzed ours up in our Ninja food processor, which does a bang-up job turning ice into slush. The recipe doesn't specify how much ice, but we used about a cup per drink.

2 oz. 1 oz. unsweetened pineapple juice
1/2 ounce coconut milk (we used Thai Kitchen canned light coconut milk)

Mix all ingredients with ice in a blender at high speed. Serve in a stemmed tall glass. Garnish with pineapple slice and cherry.

Approximately 150 calories.

(We also added a splash of DaVinci sugar-free coconut syrup for a little extra calorie-free sweetness.)
