Oprah Winfrey, after her public weight loss struggles for decades, finally has made peace with her body. Her OWN channel, however, remains a struggle, leading some to question whether Oprah was more "sympathetic" to her viewers when she battled the same bulge, while some say that she's focused on her personal life, such as her weight, to the neglect of her OWN.
In a December 30 story, NPR quoted one viewer, for example, as saying that although she watched a few shows on OWN, "now it's like, all over the place, and it's not as focused as her own show," referring to Oprah's famous broadcast show.
