When you hear the word exercise, what do you think of? Aerobics? Treadmill? Gym? Yes, those descriptors might come to you at first, but could you then think of other things that could be exercise? Not many of us do, other than adding, perhaps, swimming, basketball, or some other sport to the list. But for everyone who thinks that fitting exercise into their daily routine is all but impossible, think again.

If all you do all day is sit at a computer, watch TV, or sit in a car in traffic, then of course, you are not exercising. But if you think of other things you do throughout the day, you just could be overlooking ways you do fit in exercise without even knowing it.

For example, how many times do you have an option to take the stairs instead of an elevator and choose not to?
