By definition, glycemic refers to glucose presence in the bloodstream. Per dictionary.com, Glucose, is derived from the Greek word glukus which means sweet. A fat reduction review can help you construct a clear outline of what you demand to focus on to accomplish your fat reduction goal if you're a novice; or serve as a reminder for those who are at an intermediate or more enhance step of their weightloss program. Promptly after are seven steps that can serve as instructions for your special weight loss program. The first thing that one must understand is that losing weight and losing fat is not a similar thing. Many weight loss applications have tricked people into considering that it is the same, but most diets and weight loss applications only work by causing a person's body to lose more muscle tissue and water than actual body fat, more help please visit The Fat Loss Factor. The glycemic index (GI) ranks carbohydrates (carbs) with respect to their effect on levels of blood glucose. During my quest for the perfect low carb diet, many books were read. The Volumetrics Eating Plan: Techniques and Recipes for Feeling Full on Fewer Calories by Barbara J. Rolls and The South Beach Diet The Delicious, Doctor-designed, Foolproof Plan for Fast and Healthy Weight Loss by Arthur Agatston to name a few. The South Beach Diet has also published a comprehensive list of low, medium and high glycemic foods that is very easy to follow. (See http://www.southbeach-diet-plan.com/glycemicfoodchart.htm).

They all purport moderation while giving out subjective information regarding food choices that are low in carbohydrates. A comprehensive exercise plan is also recommended. One of the best books encountered however was found in a dollar store. The book is called Curb the Carb - The Realistic Way to Lose Weight by Amanda Cross. The book was published in 2003. Although some of the information in it is outdated, it serves as an excellent guide in our quest for the ultimate low carbohydrate diet. The best books by far were those of Jenny Craig. Her program was recently labeled the most successful diet program. The reason it is the most successful one is because Jenny Craig and her colleagues focus on changing the way we think about food.
