Almonds can be purchased year round from your local grocery store or whole food store. However, almonds are freshest in the summer; The almond tree bears its fruit during this season. Almonds carry many nutrients your body needs.

Almonds carry over 26 vitamins and minerals. This wholesome nut contains vitamin A, B6, and E to mention a few. For daily value percentage, it contains 9% calcium and 7% potassium for your body.

This hearty nut can be eaten by itself or in breads, cookies, and muffins. Almond milk is even better; It can replace milk in shakes. Almond milk can be found in the baking aisle or you can make your own almond milk. Almond Milk

  • 4 cups water, ice cold
  • 1 cup raw almonds
  • 2 teaspoons stevia blend or 4 packets of stevia

Soak almonds in 4 cups of water overnight. Combine soaked almonds, ice cold water, and stevia into blender. Puree on high speed for 2 minutes. Refrigerate unused portion; This will keep about five days.

According to Cooking with Stevia, each serving is 287 calories, 21 grams of fat, 12 grams of protein, and 15 grams of carbohydrate.
