Most women go on diets because they want to look better. For gold medalist gymnast Shawn Johnson, however, it was reading cruel remarks about her 25-pound weight gain that caused her to shed that weight. "At my heaviest all the tabloids said some pretty hurtful things," Shawn said, USA Today reported today. The result: her body image suffered. Today, at the Olympic Media Summit, Shawn said that the cruel remarks "kind of broke me down and taught me something. People put too much emphasis on looks."
