As someone whos lost over a hundred pounds of pure fat I can honestly tell you the first step to losing weight is to understand the Law of Thermodynamics. I hear clients moan and groan about counting calories, but its a proven fact that people who count calories lose twice as much weight when dieting and exercising that those who dont keep track. Now you cant tell me that isnt motivation to try it. Youre running on the treadmill, lifting weights at the gym, and still youre not seeing results. Ive been there, trust me, and I promise you that once you start counting youll have a better understanding of what is a healthy amount to eat is and what isnt. Maybe youre drinking an extra 1000 calories a day and not even realizing it. Maybe youre not eating often enough, and youre metabolism has slowed down to make those few calories last longer. But one thing is certain, once you count youll know without a doubt what youre doing wrong if that scale isnt tipping in your favor come weigh in day. Yes, its tasty and delicious, but theres no nutritional value in a can of soda. You drink over a hundred calories per can and with it a fist full of sugar.
