Famed as the "Biggest Loser" professional trainer, Bob Harper has created the ultimate diet book in The Skinny Rules: The Simple, Nonnegotiable Principles for Getting to Thin. In a recent appearance on the Rachael Ray show, Bob revealed his 1 rule on feeling fit: "I think that information is power," says Bob. "I think one of the first things that you should do, its a major rule in my book and it is to start reading the labels on the foods that you are eating. Its really important; people dont realize how many calories theyre eating, how much protein, how much fat."

And when it comes to food labels, Bob emphasizes the importance of reading them carefully. "The shorter the list the better.
