The girlfriend of Biggest Loser season 9 contestant Sam Poueu updated fans, friends and family today on his condition after a serious fall back in September.
"Sam stood up and walked for the first time in over 3 months!!!" wrote Stephanie Anderson on her Facebook fan page this afternoon. "His doctors still say he's nothing short of a miracle and that with extensive physical therapy in the next few days he'll be ready to come back home with me this week to soon start out-patient therapy."
Poueu and Anderson met and fel in love during filming of The Biggest Loser, and Poueu works as a trainer at the Biggest Loser Resort in Malibu, Calif.
"I cannot contain my ultimate JOY" Anderson wrote today. "We both are so happy and so are our families with his continued progress and recovery! Best.Day.Ever."
He was injured Sept. 3 in San Francisco, when he went to the rooftop of a friend's apartment and the door locked behind him.
