Biggest Loser season 13 week 9: In a season full of drama, dissention and deception, Tuesday night's episode went a long way to redeem the season. Everyone got to spend the holidays at home for nearly three weeks but they stayed away from the Christmas cookies and had smashing results at home. In the elimination room, Alison informed both teams that everyone not just Daphne would be heading home for 18 days. (In their world its the holiday season.) When they get back, there will be a weigh-in and if they lose 5 percent of their body weight, theyre immune. And if everyone hits that mark, there wont be an elimination. Thats saying no to a lot of Christmas cookies.
The challenge: After the happy homecomings, all the contestants were given a DVD. On it, Alison told them that they won spiffy new rowing machines yay! And they have to get on those rowers and row 10,000 meters. First one to finish wins $10,000. Around 5,000 meters we were treated to the crapping out montage. Who won? Wed have to wait til the weigh-in back at the ranch.
After the rowing challenge, Emily and Buddy basically indulged in food porn Emily at a bakery, and Buddy staring at a mountain of cheese fries. Neither succumbed. Jeremy slurped water while his buddies downed beers, Cassandra (pretty much) kept her fingers out of the cookie dough and only ate one Christmas cookie.

We also found out that Chism is a really good singer and has a pretty great band called My Side of the Story. And holy schmenkies, Chris and Roy's house is a mess. In the past, she said shed make herself feel better by anesthetizing the pain with food. Now, she talks it out with her husband instead of stuffing down her feelings.
Soon it was time to leave, and get their butts kicked at the ranch one last time before the big weigh-in. And get their butts kicked they did (sorry for the Yoda-speak). Bob and Dolvett had more than two weeks to figure out new and exciting ways to torture their teams.
Weigh-in: First the exciting news Chism was the Row Master and won 10 large over Kims second-place finish. And anyone who loses 5 percent is immune -- how'd they do?

Oooh, thats bad because the black team just lost the weigh-in and Chism was the only one not immune so hes going home. His dad tearfully tried in vain to offer himself up but Chism wouldnt let that happen not that it could.

And here's a thought (pure speculation) after watching his at-home update that only covered his first week at home: Are they keeping Chism's current weight a secret because of that reported "plot twist" that is supposed to happen near the end of season 13?
