Ever since Heidi Klum famously shed her baby weight in a few weeks to strut down the runway in a fashion show, the media has focused its spotlight on celebrity moms' ability to magically achieve their pre-baby bodies almost overnight. The result: diet companies are eagerly recruiting celebrities to serve as spokeswomen, urging them to lose weight by using their various weight loss programs. Jessica Simpson, who's following the Weight Watchers plan with a few variations of her own (using Halle Berry's celebrity trainer, for example) has become the textbook example for this scenario. The concern: are celebrity moms risking their health and, potentially, the health of their babies by striving to shed pounds in a short amount of time? Fox News investigated this trend and asked the experts for their views.

Nutritionist Heather Lounsbury told Fox that these regimes may harm both new moms and their newborn babies. "Having a baby is overwhelming, exhilarating and exhausting," she asserted. "Stress from fatigue or worrying too much about weight loss releases stress hormones, which also go into the breast milk." In addition to impacting the baby, those hormones can even result in weight gain, according to Heather. But the temptation can outweigh worries about health: Jessica's deal with Weight Watchers reportedly is worth $3 to $4 million. Jennifer Hudson not only earned money but acquired free publicity by transforming herself from a size 16 to a size 6 with Weight Watchers, while Jenny Craig ambassador Mariah Carey lost 30 pounds in six months using that plan, according to Fox News.

"Biggest Loser" trainer Bob Harper recently offered his snarky views on celebrity moms' weight loss. Calling Heidi Klum a "freak of nature" because of her ability to lose her baby weight so quickly, Bob informed Celebuzz that he's not sure Jessica Simpson can shed her famous post-pregnancy pounds because "it seems like she definitely likes her food," at which point he laughed. So tell us how you really feel, Bob.

The concern voiced by Los Angeles-based therapist Dr. Nancy Irwin: celebrities enjoy such perks as personal chefs and trainers who help them to lose the weight so quickly. "These programs are excellent, but consumers should be aware that many times the after effects are retouched, she said. And of course all this marketing does add pressure to a new mother to look perfect which really raises the bar for average women without access to all these resources, or the time. But Harvard integrative physician Dr. A fat reduction review can help you produce a clear outline of what you demand to focus on to accomplish your fat reduction goal if you're a novice; or serve as a reminder for those who are at an intermediate or more boost phase of their weight loss program. Following are seven steps that can serve as instructions for your own weight loss system. The first thing that one must understand is that losing weight and losing fat is not a similar thing. Many weight loss plans have misled people into believing that it is the same, but most diets and weight loss applications only work by leading to a person's body to reduce more muscle flesh and water than actual body fat, more help please visit The Fat Loss Factor. Sara Gottfried disagrees. "When a new mom is able to reclaim her body, she can be more present for what Oprah calls the most important task in life motherhood, she said.
