Statistically, if you are slowly gaining weight and maintain your current eating patterns, you need to exercise 1-2 times per week for 30-60 minutes in order to maintain your current weight.

On the flipside, if you are slowly gaining weight and maintain your current eating patterns, you need to exercise 3-7 times per week for 30-90 minutes in order to lose weight.

That being said, sometimes weight loss is simply not a motivating enough factor for people to get up and get moving (Colorado Springs is, after all, one of the fittest cities in the nation!). So, I'd like to give you a top ten list of reasons to exercise that have nothing to do with weight loss or weight gain. My hope is, on those days you just don't feel it, you'll remember one of these reasons and that will be the driving force behind your workout!

6.) Exercise improves your skin's appearance by releasing regular blood flow and oxygen throughout your body. You also tend to drink more water when exercising which eliminates the buildup of toxins
