Biggest Loser season 13 week 2 had the red team betting on a a big weight loss, despite the dreaded week 2 curse. That didnt happen, and the red team sniped all the way to a testy elimination tonight.
Alison informed the contestants that the weigh-in has a twist: The player with the highest percentage of weight loss on the winning team can give immunity to a player on the losing team, which everyone wants so they can save their partner.
But first, some poker! And those werent potato chips (not even baked ones) they were poker chips and the red and black teams would be betting on how many pounds each team would lose at the weigh-in. If they bet right, the winning team will get a 5-pound advantage at the weigh-in. Red team went all in, thinking their team would lose 3.8 percent, or 94 pounds. Black team folded and let red team go for it because they thought red team doesnt stand a chance with that number. Alison reminded the high rollers that average week 2 weigh-in is 2 percent.

Even Dolvett, whos only been on the show one whole season, knows that 94 pounds is a crazy goal. But do we have a choice? he bellowed. No! Both teams were whipping themselves into a frenzy red team had Dolvett screaming 94 pounds! at them and the black team was freaking out about not losing the weigh-in. We then met the new nutritionist for The Biggest Loser, Rachel Beller, who also was the on-screen nutrition expert for the Oxygen show Dance Your Ass Off. She took the contestants grocery shopping to show them the right things to buy. Jeremy couldnt want to hit the aisles with the hot nutritionist. We discovered ranch dressing is Cassandras life blood.
The challenge: A puzzle challenge had the two teams lowering puzzle pieces by spinning a spool aound in circles until they get all the pieces down, put the puzzle together and hoist it back up. Frankly, this challenge was not scintillating to watch but the black team won by a hair.
In a nice little side trip, nutritionist Rachel traveled to Chicago to meet with the aqua team and set them on the right road to lose that 50 pounds in a month to make it back to the ranch. She showed them a really yummy recipe for a turkey breakfast burrito (recipe HERE).
Last-chance workout: Does Bob have exercise envy? Is Dolvett copying him? Cute little bit of rivalry there (emphasis on cute). Bob was getting all over Gails case for slacking off. (Oh, how I love when Bob says my name). On the red team, Mike was the team slacker, taking workout breaks and even snack breaks.

Black team nailed that weigh-in, and since a member on the opposing team can be given immunity, Chisms dad, Mark, was safe because he had the highest percentage of weight lost, and Chris had the highest percentage lost on the black team so she chose Santa Claus!
Elimination: The knives were out for Mike, especially from Conda, who dissed him at last weeks weigh-in. After seemingly hours of sniping, Conda and Mike voted for each other, Nancy was weeping as she voted for Mike, and Santa had no problem voting for him, too, as did everyone else. Buh bye, Mike.
