Pop Physique is popular workout that puts a trendy twist on ballet moves. The workout that started in Los Angeles is now available at home in a three-DVD series.
Pop Physique combines barre-inspired exercises with ballet, Pilates and strength training into a series of strengthening, isometrics, core shaping and stretching. - Hardcore: This 65-minute workout is probably the most advanced of the group and targets the core as well as every other muscle group.
The DVDs have a retro, 70s feel with neon colors, old-school workout clothes (think legwarmers and sweatbands with ballet leotards) and a sparse set, putting the emphasis on the moves. Modifications are provided for each workout.
