Today is the eighth annual National Walk To Work Day. Starting in 2004, Prevention Magazine promoted a day for people to hang up their car keys and lace up their sneakers for a day of walking for health.
In a city the size of Sacramento, it's not always that easy. Spread out neighborhoods might make a walk to work a bit lengthy for some.
