Since the days when she bounced up and down as a high school cheerleader, perky anchorwoman Katie Couric has maintained both her beaming smile and slender body. And although she loves to cook (she's gained fame for her lemon bars recipe), Katie stays slim and toned at 55 with an intense fitness plan.
"I do spinning and Pilates in the morning, between 8:30 and 10, maybe 4 or 5 times a week," Katie recently told Prevention magazine. "I want to get more into yoga this year. I think it's important for someone my age to stay flexible. And it's a great stress reducer. I've tried hot yoga, but it's pretty tough for me. I usually feel like I'm going to pass out." In addition, she's an advocate for healthy living, reports the Huffington Post. She put a study about the risks of inactivity on her Facebook wall recently, posting, "I'm trying to exercise more, you should too!!" Couric urged.
