On the Biggest Loser finale Tuesday night, confetti poured onto top winner Jeremy Britt, who grabbed the $250,000 and the glory. In his shadows: at-home winner Mike Messina, who won $100,000 for losing the most weight among the contestants who were eliminated. Mike glowed with joy even before the results were announced. His perfectly sculpted body, energized spirit, and positive self-esteem uplifted the entire crowd, which seemed to be more subdued than in previous seasons. Was Season 13 unlucky? Trainers Bob Harper and Dolvett Quince seemed to think so. Although they smiled whenever the camera turned in their direction, neither seemed particularly impressed with the results.
