Jillian Michaels has signed on to be the face of BodyMedia FIT armbands, and is featuring the new BodyMedia FIT Core armband on her new 360 Weight Loss Navigator program.

The partnership was announced by BodyMedia on Wednesday and on Jillian Michaels' site today.

The Core armband is a third of the size in overall volume compared with previous models. All BodyMedia FIT armbands track everything from steps taken, calories burned, physical activity levels and sleep duration and efficiency.

The original-size Link armband, previously known as the BW, uses Bluetooth technology to communicate with smartphones.
