Nationwide open casting calls for season 15 of "The Biggest Loser" kick off Saturday, May 4, in Charleston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Oklahoma City and Salt Lake City, and continue on Saturday, May 11 in Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Dallas, Philadelphia and Phoenix. We talked with casting directors Randy Bernstein and Holland Weathers, who are looking for the perfect contestants. Weathers has been casting "The Biggest Loser" for many seasons and has seen many contestants and winners come through her casting calls.
Q. What are the top three things Biggest Loser casting directors are looking for?
Randy Bernstein: Men and women 18 years old [and older] that have at least 80 pounds to lose. People with the burning desire to change. People who are competitive, charismatic and have a story to tell.

Holland Weathers: Abby Rike, season 8 -- there was no denying she was amazing from the moment she started talking. She was so positive and greatly desired change. Even though her life had been turned upside down due to a horrendous tragedy, she remained positive and uplifting to everyone around her.
Q. Did you ever interview someone and think This person is going to win it all?
Holland Weathers: Danny Cahill [season 8 winner] said at the casting call table that he was gonna win and break records ... and he did!
