It is challenging to find ways to stay in shape while attending to the needs of a young infant. However, don't give up on your fitness goals. As a mom of a young baby, I can relate to the time constraints in finding windows for workouts everyday. I have found some ways to quickly get off the baby weight that I wanted to share with other new moms:
1. Walk with your baby daily. Mall walk if it is too hot or cold. Go to the local zoo or park. Walk in your neighborhood. Just 20 minutes a day is all that you need. If you can squeeze in a walk in both morning and late afternoon, even better as your metabolic rate will stay raised.
2. Really focus in on what you are eating. Since clearly you do not have as much time for working out as before, you can take steps to make diet modifications.
3. When you eat out, order baked fish or chicken, as welll as salads. Try to consistently eat nutrient rich foods so you have energy to care for the baby!
4.
