Holly says Jay told her that he wanted to license her Pink Iron gym program brand, designed for women, in exchange for heavy-weight publicity from Dr. Phil. Jay reassured Holly, according to the lawsuit, that his father "will market the sht out of Pink Iron." Holly agreed, eager to take on the role of spokesperson, when Jay reneged on the deal and signed up to to partner with the P.I.N.K. Method company. So much for Jay's pitch to Holly that he wanted her to be the spokesperson for the fitness DVD and that "no other spokesperson will have a more significant role than Holly." In addition to wheeling and dealing, TMZ reports that Jay produces the TV show "The Doctors," which also featured the PINK Method (surprise, surprise!).

The complaint also references a Newsweek article, "Have I Got a Diet for You! Dr. Phil's Hype Machine," which revealed that Cynthia Pasquella designed her weight-loss program called the "P.I.N.K." method (Power, Intensity, Nutrition, and Kardio) presented on Dr. Phil's show. And, according to Courthouse News Service, the complaint also alleges that it "appears to defy logic" that Jay claimed he was not involved "in the creation of the P.I.N.K. Method diet and...merely coordinated the publication of the book." Someone needs to call Judge Judy.
