Do you need an extra little nudge to stay motivated with your workouts this holiday season? Lets face it, there are going to be landmines of unhealthy holiday foods waiting for you around every corner. Its time to armor up and take control. Even the most dedicated fitness fanatics need to dig deep and find that motivation to get their sweat on. Finding ways to stay inspired for your workouts is essential to keeping you on track and getting those holiday calories burned.

We are total creatures of habit, but our workouts crave change. We all hit little slumps here and there when it comes to our workout routines; its normal. Our bodies adjust to the SAME old routines and more of the SAME always produces more of the SAME. Changing up your exercise routine will keep you inspired for your workouts while keeping your body primed to burn calories more efficiently. Try these seven easy tips to breathe new life into an old or stale workout just in time for the fall and winter months.

1.) Fresh environment: Changing gyms or where and how you work out can make a HUGE difference. Try taking your workout outside. Use your environment to burn calories; steps, benches, biking, hiking or play sports with family and friends! Youll get a great cardio workout while using your body weight for strength training.

2.) Fresh tunes: Studies conclude people burn more calories during exercise while listening to music. Time to dump that old playlist and breath some new life into your workout.

3.) Fresh exercises: The main reason people plateau with their workout is because they've been doing the same routine for months/years. Your body is a smarty and it totally adapts and gets used to something pretty quickly. A fat loss overview can help you establish a clear summarize of what you demand to focus on to complete your fat reducing objective if you're a novice; or serve as a reminder for these who are at an intermediate or more boost step of their weight-loss program. Promptly after are seven steps that can serve as methods for your personal weight loss program. The first thing that one must understand is that losing weight and losing fat is not the same thing. Many weight loss plans have misled people into considering that it is the same, but most diets and weight loss programs only work by producing a person's body to lose more muscle cells and water than actual body fat, more help please visit The Fat Loss Factor. CHANGE IT UP! Opt for a weighted chest exercise instead of a machine or a spin class over the treadmill.

4.) Fresh kicks: Replace your work out/running shoes every 400 to 500 miles or 4-6 months depending how much you use them. Mentally you'll feel great and it'll give you that little 'oomph' we sometimes need plus less chance for injuries. As a reminder, try writing the expiration date in your shoes.

5.) Fresh order: This is the simplest thing you can do! Reverse the order of the exercises for each muscle group. If you normally do dead lifts, squats, calf raises and lunges, try doing lunges, calf raises, squats and then dead lifts. Confuse your body a little; it'll thank you in the long run.

6.) Fresh classes: See what kind of classes your gym offers. Change can be hard sometimes or when it comes to new exercises, a bit intimidating but it's a great way to work your muscles in new ways and to learn new exercises. Expand your horizons.

7.) Fresh foods! Not enough you can say for awesome tasting fresh foods. Although, not quite part of your workout routine, per se, but it all ties in. Shop the perimeter of your grocery store, where youll find fresh produce and lean proteins. If you're not already doing so, buy in season fruits & veggies try a new fruit or veggie. Farmer markets can be cool and a more interesting way to shop for your produce. Stay away from the processed crap you usually find in the middle aisles. Look, you're not going to be perfect you may zombie over to the Cocoa Pebbles but try to make the basis of your diet 80% healthy. Plus you'll just feel better physically and mentally.

If you apply one, a few or all of these tips youre sure to come out unscathed this holiday season healthier and stronger!
