From replicating basic training camp to jumping out of a helicopter, "Biggest Loser" trainer Dolvett Quince admits that competing on NBC's new show, "Stars Earn Stripes," was "one of the toughest things Ive ever done," he told Access Atlanta yesterday. The show, which premiered last night, showcases celebrities being trained by former military experts prior to competing in what co-host retired General Wesley Clark terms "realistic" missions.
Last night, Dolvett and the other celebrities, which included actor Dean Cain and Todd Palin, met their training partners and faced their first mission, hoping to earn "stripes." The winner of the competition earns $100,000 to donate to that charity. Dolvett made it clear that he assumed his years of intense physical training, coupled with attention to diet and nutrition, would help him exceed in the challenges. As the show revealed last night, what military men and women encounter does not resemble what happens inside a gym. Dolvett almost drowned as he forced himself to leap from the helicopter into water while wearing 70 pounds of gear.
