Though season 14 of "The Biggest Loser" doesn't begin until Jan. 1, host Alison Sweeney imparts a little "Biggest Loser" wisdom in the September issue of "Health" magazine, in stores this week.

She talks with the magazine about her eating and workout favorites and the the diet and fitness lessons she has learned from her years hosting "Biggest Loser" and trainers Jillian Michaels and Bob Harper.

1. Scrap all unrealistic expectations: Im not a fan of having a supermodel on your refrigeratorNobody is going to all of a sudden, at 40, look like an 18-year-old model. Set your goals to positive things. Instead of thinking, I need to work out because I want to lose weight, Im thinking, I have to run a 26.2-mile race, so I have to run. Today. Now.

2. Dont put off what you can do today: When I do one thing thats good, I immediately start to feel better. I dont wait for Monday. I dont wait for a holiday. I dont wait for my birthday.
