Help end child hunger with hot chocolate and cookies at Zy Salt Lake City

There's nothing like warm cookies, hot chocolate and tree decorating to make it feel like Christmas. All that's missing is more Utah snow.

Classic American Restaurant Zy in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah will host a tree-trimming fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 3, to support Share Our Strength, an organization whose mission is to end childhood hunger in America by improving the access that families have to healthy, affordable food while working at the city, state, and nationwide levels. The festive fundraiser is open to the public from noon to 3 p.m.

Zy restaurant will bake batches of scrumptious holiday cookies that include favorites like:

• Oatmeal Raisin
• Chocolate Chip
• Dried Cherry Biscotti
• Sweet Sugar

A decadent housemade hot chocolate will also be served and guests will have plenty of time to eat, mingle and decorate Zy's christmas tree.
